The recently launched COST Action European transdisciplinary networking platform for marine biotechnology (Ocean4Biotech) brings together experts in the field of marine biotechnology, to provide a platform for sharing experience, knowledge and technologies, and to design a roadmap for a more efficient and rapid development of marine biotechnology research in Europe and beyond.
To this end, the project has announced they are taking submissions of abstracts for articles on the special research topic Marine Biotechnology, Revealing an Ocean of Opportunities for Frontiers in Marine Science and Frontiers in Marine Biotechnology. This topic aims to generate a compendium of processes and technologies and map the current scientific actors in the field of marine biotechnology. Interested researchers are invited to submit original research, reviews, and opinions on all steps of the marine biotechnology development pipeline.
