The EuroMarine Association, registered in France on 30 July 2018, is the not-for-profit legal entity prescribed by the EuroMarine Consortium Agreement, within the mixed legal framework chosen for the EuroMarine network under the preparatory FP7 EuroMarine project. Since 2019 it manages the budget of the EuroMarine Consortium (which consists in the yearly contributions of its member organisations). Since 2020, the association also aims at stepping-up the exisiting activities of the consortium and at developing new activities through fundraising and the participation in projects.
