The Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna (Italy), Interdepartmental center for Environmental Sciences, is opening a post-doctoral ("Assegno di ricerca") position funded by the EU-INTERREG Program (Italy-Croatia) "CASCADE" for interdisciplinary coastal ocean modeling, for the project entitled “Numerical simulations of the biogeochemical dynamics of the Goro lagoon (Adriatic Sea, Po river delta) with a coupled physical biogeochemical model"
Located in UNIBO Ravenna Campus.
Research activities are focusing on the Goro lagoon (Adriatic Sea, Po river delta) and will be carried out using the coupled physical-biogeochemical model SHYFEM-BFM.
The contract has a duration of 12 months and may be renewed and/or extended.
The gross amount of the research fellowship contract is € 22.797,59 per annum.
