Based in France, the post-doctoral fellow will conduct a systematic review of the scientific literature, according to the standards of the "Collaboration for Environmental Evidence", on ocean-based solutions to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Ocean-based solutions are receiving increasing attention by governments, NGOs, industry and finance. They include nature-based solutions, marine renewable energies, and engineering methods that allow carbon sequestration in the ocean and adaptation to inevitable changes.

The systematic literature review will be based on the work of a working group comprising about 20 international scientists selected by a steering committee whose scientific disciplines will cover physics, biogeochemistry, ecology, economics, socio-anthropology, ocean law and engineering.

Start and duration of the contract: April 2022, for 2 years
